Yes, if your phone can send a text message. Flip phones, basic phones and older phones all work. There's no app to install and you don't need a Google account. Your phone is linked to your email, so anything you forward from it comes to you.
Texting turns on once the phone carriers finish verifying our number. Every service like ours has to pass that check. Pre-order members hear first, by email. We won't promise a date we can't keep.
